Persistant & Patient
Gaining weight doesn’t just happen over night, normally the weight creeps on over months and years yet we expect it all to be gone in a quick fix 2 week starvation plan.. (Yep been there, that holiday body the week before aaagghhhh)
Trying to lose weight super quick will not work as a long term solution it’s just a recipe for a yo yo dieting lifestyle that we are trying to escape from..
You need to find a plan (a Lifestyle) that works long term in order to succeed..
Any detox or low carb plan the first week you will on average lose about 5-8lbs and then on average week after week about 2lbs unless you have a lot of weight to shift then it can be about 3-4 lbs per week..
For every 4lbs of fatloss (and yes fatloss is the key not weight loss) it will equal around 1 inch off ..
Males differ to females in the fact they can lose fat faster in some cases twice as fast.. I am thinking of 2 prime examples here that more often than not their wives reaction as to how quickly the fat drops off their husbands and loving hatred of nothing is budging for them fingers poking eyes comes to mind and that death stare ha…
If you are post menopausal or going through the menopause then fatloss will be much slower. We talk a lot about hormones in our online group and plans.
As you do though start to get closer to your goal the fat loss may slow down, until you stabilise at a weight that your body feels is right. We all have that weight / shape that our body sits comfortably at. This does not mean once you get to this though that you can go back to old ways – old ways equal old you.
Blasting Fat Forever
Losing a lot of fat long-term and keeping it off forever won’t happen unless you change your habits forever.. You ever followed a plan to then get to the end say the 8 weeks then you just go back to how you used to eat??
Maintaining fat loss requires long-term change and patience. If this does not interest you then you will always be in that rut of being a yo yo dieter and no further forward – Why bother working hard for a small time to undo your good work in a week?
Forget quick fixes:
Blasting fat little and often will get you to where you want to be..
“Change is hard in the beginning, Messy in the Middle and Beautiful at the End”
It’s like quitting smoking, nothing comes easy but it gets easier. Once you develop new habits it becomes easier and easier every week. Eventually it comes naturally.
And Remember to have patience it will not happen overnight
